Anthony J. Barsamian

Anthony J. Barsamian is an Armenian-American attorney and president of the real estate firm Gravestar. Based in Boston, he has held senior leadership roles with the Armenian Assembly of America, including Chairman of its Board of Trustees. His work has supported U.S. aid for Armenia, permanent normal trade relations, and human rights advocacy on Capitol Hill. He has also promoted economic and environmental sustainability through his role with the Armenia Tree Project.

Barsamian was the first Eastern Orthodox president of the Massachusetts Council of Churches, where he helped build interfaith support for awareness of the Armenian Genocide and Armenian history. He remains focused on the future of the diaspora, the Armenian Church, and mentoring young Armenian-Americans through Washington internship programs.
